39% Calvinist? Surely some mistake

Hmm, 39% Calvinist eh? Only because some of the values mentioned are mainstream...

39% You are somewhat of a Calvinist. Some of your points of view make you look like a Calvinist. However, you live your life in a lighter way than Calvinists do, which allows you to enjoy it more.
CategoryScoreComment
Work43%Really, you don't have a Calvinistic working ethos. You mainly work for yourself, and you don't see a reason to work much harder
Strictness20%You know how to enjoy life. You don't always spend your time in a useful way. Mind the balance!
Sobriety33%You were not born to be a Calvinist. Catholicism suits you better - slightly hedonistic, loose and emotional.
Relationships0%In your relationships you are not very reserved. One might say: uncalvinistic. You let yourself go too easily to be a Calvinist.
Beliefs0%You are an unconcerned believer, who doesn't worry too much.

Play is useful too!

Also Calvin was a very bad man, because he had Michael Servetus burnt at the stake.

Actually, he didn't. The Genevan secular arm did. Calvin didn't disagree with the death penaly, but he did request beheading rather than burning. He was just an old softy at heart...

He was involved in handing Servetus over to the Genevan secular arm though.

And he believed in double predestination.

Quote from Wikipedia:

Meaning to flee to Italy, Servetus inexplicably stopped in at Geneva, where Calvin and his Reformers had denounced him. On August 13, he attended a sermon by Calvin at Geneva. He was immediately recognized and arrested after the service and was again imprisoned. All his property was confiscated. French Inquisitors asked that Servetus be extradited to them for execution. Calvin wanted to show himself as firm in defense of Christian orthodoxy as his usual opponents. "He was forced to push the condemnation of Servetus with all the means at his command." Calvin's delicate health meant he did not personally appear against Servetus. Nicholas de la Fontaine played the more active role in Servetus's prosecution and the listing of points that condemned him.

To quote the same Wiki article further "When Calvin requested that Servetus be executed by decapitation rather than fire, Farel, in a letter of September 8, chided him for undue lenience.[25] ".
As you say a few posts previously of another religious founder, perhaps Calvin was a creature of his age?

My results--I'm a Hedonist! Not a Calvinist. A life of hearty Paganism gives a different squint on things, I guess.

But Pitch, I have led a life of hearty Paganism. So why the heck did I get 39% ???

Archdruid Eileen: I concede you have a point, but he still wanted him to die. And clearly Farel was even more of a git.

Calvin is OK I guess.
I usually prefer Hobbs.
